EDDHA-Fe 6% is a highly efficient, high quality, super active chelated iron fertilizer, which is widely used in agriculture, especially for the treatment of plant iron deficiency and yellow leaf disease. The production process mainly includes the following steps
1. Raw material preparation: Use phenol, ethylenediamine, glyoxylic acid and inorganic salt containing iron as raw materials.
2. Initial reaction: Heating phenol to 40-70℃, adding ethylenediamine and glyoxylic acid to mix evenly to form the initial mixture.
3. Preparation of reaction raw material mixture: Add glyoxylic acid and alkaline aqueous solution to the initial mixture to form the reaction raw material mixture. In this step, the molar ratio of glyoxylic acid to hydroxide ions in an alkaline aqueous solution is 1:1-1.05.
4. Heating reaction: the reaction raw material mixture is heated to 60-90℃ for reaction. After the reaction, the extraction solvent is used to extract the reaction product, remove the organic phase, and obtain the EDDHA salt solution.
5. Chelation reaction: under the condition of pH value 7.5-9, the EDDHA salt solution chelates with inorganic iron salt to form EDDHA-FE6 solution.
6. Post-treatment: The chelated iron salt solution is concentrated, centrifuged and dried to obtain EDDHA-Fe6 products
Under optimized conditions, the yield and content of EDDHA can reach 87.0% and 98.7% respectively. Through this process, high purity and high quality EDDHA-Fe6 can be prepared to meet the needs of agricultural development.
Iron EDDHA is good, but excessive use may also cause adverse effects on plants.
In the process of use, be sure to follow the recommended dosage on the product manual, and flexibly adjust according to the actual situation. At the same time, regular observation of plant growth, timely evaluation of the use of iron EDDHA effect, in order to make the necessary adjustments and optimization.
