Daminozide can delay the growth of plants, inhibit the growth of shoots and leaves above the ground, increase the chlorophyll content of leaves, increase the rate of tuber expansion, and promote tuber expansion.
Daminozide can prevent cell division, inhibit cell elongation, dwarf seedlings, improve the drought resistance of peanuts, make fruit trees bloom in advance, increase fruit setting rate and prevent fruit drop before harvest. After being absorbed by plants, Daminozide can inhibit the biosynthesis of endogenous gibberellin and the synthesis of endogenous auxin in plants. The main function is to inhibit the growth of new branches, shorten the length of internodes, increase leaf thickness and chlorophyll content, prevent flower drop, promote fruit setting, induce adventitious root formation, stimulate root growth, and improve cold resistance.
